Taylor Swift se disculpó con Nicki Minaj por haberle llamado la atención en Twitter en relación con sus nominaciones a los MTV Video Music Awards. Taylor pensó que Nicki la estaba desafiando y ahora se disculpa con la rapera por haber malinterpretado el tweet y haber dicho algo inapropiado. Nicki Minaj estaba molesta porque su video “Anaconda” no quedó entre los candidatos a video del año y escribió muchas cosas acerca de que sólo las mujeres esbeltas reciben nominaciones importantes aunque nunca dijo nombres ni señaló directamente a Taylor Swift.
