Subastan lentes de sol de John Lennon por una fuerte cantidad
Los icónicos lentes de sol del cantante, fueron subastados este viernes por la módica cantidad de 183 mil dólares (3.5 millones de pesos aprox.), lo que elevó 20 veces más que el precio estimado, todo esto en una subasta organizada en línea por Sotheby’s, en Londres.
Las gafas, olvidadas en el asiento de atrás de un coche en 1968, se colocaron a la venta por Alan Herring, chófer de Ringo Starr y George Harrison, dos de los cuatros miembros de los Beatles, a finales de los años 60.
“Cuando John salió del coche, me di cuenta de que había olvidado sus gafas de sol en el asiento trasero y que un cristal y una varilla se habían soltado. Le pregunté a John si quería que las reparase. Y me contestó: ‘no te preocupes, son solo parte del estilo. No las reparé, las guardé tal y cómo estaban, como John las había dejado”, explicó Herring.
