¿Quién fue Manuel ‘El Loco’ Valdés?
Fernando Manuel Alfonso Gómez de Valdés y Castillo, mejor conocido como ‘El Loco’ Valdés, nació el 29 de enero de 1931 den Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.

El actor fue hermano de Germán Valdés “Tin Tan” y Ramón Valdés “Don Ramón”. Tuvo 12 hijos, entre los que destacan Marcos Valdés, Cristian Castro y Pedro Valdés.
En su carrera se destacó por aparecer en grandes clásicos del cine mexicano, entre estas, Calabacitas Tiernas (1949), Estrella sin luz (1953), La engañadora (1956), Música de siempre (1958), Las hermanas Karambazo (1960), Caperucita y Pulgarcito contra los monstruos (1962), y Muñecas de medianoche (1979).
Asimismo, prestó su voz para varios proyectos, entre estos Peter Pan: El regreso al país de Nunca Jamás (2002), La leyenda de la Nahuala (2007) y El Principito (2015). También incursionó en grandes obras de teatro como El tenorio cómico (con los Mascabrothers) y Don Juan Tenorio (Con Paco Stanley).
‘El Loco’ Valdés se caracterizó por ser americanista de hueso coloarado, y en distintas ocasiones realizó apuestas con su gran amigo, el actor Sergio Corona, y cada vez que su equipo se enfrentaba contra las Chivas del Guadalajara, ambos realizaban distintos retos.
El actor falleció este viernes 28 de agosto, a la edad de 89 años.
