El boxeador Filipino Manny Pacquiao admitió que cometió un error al decir hace tiempo que “la gente gay es peor que los animales”.

Sin embargo, sigue estando en contra de la homosexualidad. Manny hizo explotar la bomba a raíz de los comentarios que hizo en una entrevista y en los que decía que la heterosexualidad es “sentido común” e incluso se atrevió a declarar que para ser homosexual tienes que ser más tonto que un animal para no entender.

Debido a este tipo de comentarios homofóbicos, Pacquiao fue despedido de Nike y se le prohibió estar en el centro comercial de Los Angeles, The Grove.
