Mira como este chico mexicano recorrió América en 117 días
A mitad del 2015 Carlos Santamaría de 23 años egresado en Ingeniería Física, emprendió un viaje para recorrer el continente americano en bicicleta y hacerlo en menos de 125 días para imponer un récord Guiness.
117 días y cinco horas más tarde, Carlos se convirtió en el primer mexicano en romper este récord Guinness cruzando la ruta Panamericana de principio a fin en bicicleta.
Comenzando desde Alaska y concluyendo en Ushuaia, Argentina, este chico originario de San Luis Potosí recorrió aproximadamente 22 mil 709 kilómetros en total. Desde Alaska hasta Panamá estuvo acompañado por su hermana y su cuñado, quienes lo seguían en coche, de ahí en adelante, emprendió el viaje solo.
Pasando hambre, sed y recorriendo zonas peligrosas como Canadá con sus bajas temperaturas o El Salvador con la Mara Salvatrucha, Carlos siempre tuvo la mirada fija en la meta y se motivó a diario para pedalear 200 kilómetros por día.
Una de las metas que tiene Carlos es darle la vuelta al mundo.
