Llaman ÍCONO LATINÓ a Kylie y desata furia en redes sociales
Durante esta
semana, Popsugar Latina publicó una nota llamada “Kylie Jenner es básicamente
una mezcla de todas tus celebridades latinas favoritas”, en donde compararon a
Kylie Jenner con Selena Quintanilla, J. Lo, Selena Gomez, entre otras,
infiriendo que Kylie es Latina (lo cual no es cierto).
Inmediatamente,
Twitter desató multiples comentarios en contra de la nota.

Otros pensaron
que Popsugar básicamente sugirió que Kylie es mejor siendo latina que las
verdaderas latinas. Lo cual muchos usuarios lo tomaron discriminativo.

Después de que
Popsugar cambiara el título de la nota, los editores de la página editaron la
nota e incluyeron lo siguiente: “Escuchamos tus comentarios fuertemente y
claramente sobre el contenido original de esta nota. Como orgullosamente
latinas que somos, sabemos que Kylie no es latina y nunca quisimos decir que lo
era; simplemente estábamos tratando de dar a conocer la influencia de la fuerte
y apasionada comunidad que tenemos. Pedimos una disculpa por cualquiera de las
ofensas causadas”
