Hombre se declara culpable por la muerte de Mac Miller
El ‘dealer’ Stephen Walter se ha declarado culpable por la muerte del rapero Mac Miller, quien falleció en 2018 después de consumir las pastillas falsificadas vendidas por el vendedor de estupefacientes.
Walter suministró indirectamente pastillas de oxicodona al cantante, las cuales estaban mezcladas con fentanilo, un fuerte analgésico opioide sintético similar a la morfina, pero entre 50 y 100 veces más potente.
De acuerdo a otro de los acusados en el caso por la muerte del rapero, James Pettit, Walter acordó con Miller proporcionarle 10 “blues”, nombre con el que popularmente son identificadas las píldoras de oxicodona, pero el vendedor de drogas le dio pastillas falsas, que contenían fentanilo.
Walter, quien se encontraba en libertad condicional por otro delito relacionado con las drogas, podría enfrentar una pena de 20 años de prisión y una vida en libertad supervisada hasta sus muerte, además de tener que abonar una multa por un millón de dólares.
