Fox se disculpó por haber sacado a la luz un poster de la película “X- Men: Apocalypse” en el que se muestra al villano de la cinta ahorcando a Jennifer Lawrence con una sola mano.

Jennifer Lawrence interpretó en la peli a Mystique y ésta imagen fue muy criticada por promover la violencia contra la mujer debido a que para muchas feministas, no hay contexto alguno en la imagen, sino sólo una mujer siendo ahorcada por un hombre.

Fox respondió a las críticas y dijo que de inmediato notó la connotación que la imagen podría tener y su intención jamás ha sido promover la violencia contra las mujeres.
